The intelligence of water series is conceptual abstraction in which the water itself is creating the image through the process of its own self-organizing abilities. Liquid systems are constantly on the edge of chaos, hence constant creation. The paper is submerged for up to two weeks, allowing the water to form the image in response to atmospheric conditions and sound. As the artist I am the catalyst or trigger for the possibility of magic to develop without rational human control of the flow. The concept is akin to the subjunctive mood in grammar which alludes to a field of infinite possibilities or action that has not yet occurred.
