In this series I am using rust to etch the printing plates. Much like the intelligence of water series, the rust is creating the images thru its own self-organizing power, the power of fractals. N -1 is the concept that critical phenomena happens one dimension lower - the spontaneous changes that animate matter from within always take place one dimension lower than the space formed by the parameters triggering the changes.
These images are of the steel-faced copper plates which are the finished art works.
